A-Designs EM-PEQ

Hey guys,

just bought an A-Designs EM-PEQ (API lunchbox-fitting EQ ala Pultec) and let me say it's KILLER !
I tried the baby on voice (SM7->API pre->EM-PEQ->Distressor) and bass (the sound came to life !), and also recorded some drumsamples with it : toms = MD421 on top into API pre then PEQ, SM57 bottom into A-Designs RED pre then Mindprint DTC EQ ; kick inside = Beta52 into API pre then Pultec ; kick outside = Royer into RED pre ; snare = 57 into API pre then Pultec ; bottom = 57 into RED pre.

Will post some samples tomorrow !

The chain was :

Sonor Force Maple snare 14'x5', two 57s :
Top 57 going into API 521 pre, then equed with A-Designs EM-PEQ, then Rosetta 800.
Bottom 57 going into A-Designs RED pre, then Rosetta 800.
I'm going to create a new thread for those samples.
Will post some tom samples in a few minutes !
