Excuse the ignorance, but I was wondering what AOR stood for? I've been seeing it pop up from time to time (saw it describe the new Nightingale CD) and wanted to know what it meant.

A role model to mankind:
I've never knew what it meant either, but as far as I know stuff like Bon Jovi was labelled as it in he 80's. Stuff we in Denmark ususally call "80's heavy" (we call metal heavy). Also stuff like Poison.
Board: do you know a band called Red Warszawa? Not that I understand any of the lyrics, but I think they're really enjoyable. My favourite tracks by them at the moment are: Satanisk Kommunisme and Den Sorte Gardrobe.
