There's only one album before this one. Dunno, I don't care for them much. But then again I haven't heard much The debut didn't convince me back in days and that first (new) single is crap.

Darn, it's been a while since i heard something so outstanding, and mind you, i really didnt like Mer De Noms, i thought it was dead boring, and still think it is.
Actually the only thing i loved from their first album is a remix, which dont appear on the album hehe ( Judith - Dany Lohner remix )
So it's a great surprise!

It's always nice to see one can change its mind from an album to another, good sign of maturity and talent i reckon !
13th step is definitely one of my album of the year

btw "weak and powerless" is not a good hint for the ones who dont know APC, it's a weak track imo.

I checked it out and bought it after reading this, it's good but haven't really gotten to me yet, except "Noose" and "Blue".

Purchased too much new music lately, come tuesday I won't listen to any of it much for a while.

Even though I liked Mer De Noms a lot, I think Thirteenth Step is much better, maturer, more unified and has better songs. And better lyrics. Interestingly, Weak and Powerless sounds much better on the album than separately.
