A Premonition

I just got VE yesterday, and have only listened to the whole thing 4 times (I think I'm really gonna love this album once I get more familiar with it), but I've played 'A premonition' about 15 times, I utterly love this song, it was the one song that I really latched onto the first time I heard the album. Cool laid back atmosphere in the first part, quite a cool guitar thing happening, but the highlight is when the heavy guitars come in. Just the whole atmosphere hits me, the guitars, that Japanese-sounding riff in the background (well, it sounds Japanese to me ), and a wonderfully bleak vocal line, it's just really heart-crushing stuff.

A Premonition is my favourite song off VE, along with Evidence,Omerta,Walking by a Wire and Complicity.

Agreed, I've always thought of that figure as the "mock piano" part, and it rules...

Complicity? Why do so many people specially like this track? In my opinion it´s got on of the the best beginning but the chorus seems really poor to me (I hope I change my mind after experiencing it live... :hotjump: )

all composition is just great, growing tension and 'thickening' feelings, flowing atmosphere, many mood changes, what can I tell more in advantage?

A Premonition is utterly fucking beautiful, it reminds me of something from Discouraged Ones, it is so serene than explodes with heartfelt anguish, it's my fav song on the album!
