The instrumental section is absolutely incredible, but it's not the best part of the song. That goes to the "you said you" section. That is honestly my favorite moment in music ever... except for maybe the fading guitar chords of the end of Explosions in the Sky - Your Hand in Mine.

I also love that part of the song. The background vocals fit perfectly behind Jonas singing "you see".

Dissolving Bonds became one of my favorite Katatonia songs in an instant. Gives me the chills every time... the atmosphere in this song is so unbelievable.. this is surely no meaningless background music!

Reading the lyrics more I think I get a better feel for it.. or at least I can interpret it in my own way.

Both the lyrics and song are amazing. I kept screaming out "dissolving bonds" at the show a few weeks back!

Yeah. I dont hear anything remotely pop about it.
