A Question about Canadian venues, by a Londoner

HOWL (my strange alternative word for "hello") Metalheads of Toronto (who I should be meeting in a few days)!

I was just wondering:

1) On the toronto Opeth/ Porcupine Tree ticket, it says 8:00...does that mean doors are at 8pm?

2) What time do concerts usually finish in Toronto, as London ones finish before 11:30pm

I used to live in Toronto for a few years, shows usualy finish at around 12 - 2 am

and there is a free opeth show in toronto

I've never been to this Danforth place before either. I don't think any one has ever booked a metal show there before, or prog rock excuse me hah.

Should be exciting however!, id like to see this Daniel Gildenow impersonator as well .

I'm gonna be in row FF of the mezzanine, it's the best I could do because I got my ticket late.

I don't live in Toronto, though, I live in Kingston, actually, and am moving to Hamilton in the next couple of weeks. I don't know the city that well, but my Dad has a friend who lives in the Danforth area (actually, she's a city counseller for the area).

She says to bring a sweater or something for the show, because the seats are really uncomfortable
