People have sex all the time. Babies normally aren't born til 9 months after the fact. Now say you are really poor, ignorant, and don't really concern yourself with much aside from surviving. In such circumstances, is it really hard to imagine you might not make the connection?

see, you are moving along with only assumptions. i think lina has made a good point up there. it turns out at the end to be very wrong to generalise.
It just happens to be the case that in one region of that country, apparently, people aren't aware of something I thought most people were aware of. I don't think it is incredibly naive to believe a person that has never lied to me before about something. So if David tells me that the people in the region he met didn't know where babies come from, I am justified to think that they probably didn't. So that last post I made was just me trying to think of how something so obvious seeming could be overlooked. But if it makes you feel better to think I am just some guy here spouting out fiction for the purpose of my entertainment, you just go ahead and think that way.

I'm sure some people in India don't know where babies come from, but you said most, which I'm sure you can see is ludicrous.
Later in the thread, before you had posted, I mentioned at least in one region of the country because I realised that was all I really had any evidence to support. I myself have never been there or read much about the place aside from looking into hinduism for the sake of studying a few world views. So, once again, I pretty much live up to my sn.
