Im tabbing out a touch of blessing and Im not sure what the timing is for the intro.(Ive tabbed the notes already) Is it in 12/8 because it seems like it is but i want to be 100% sure

I've been trying to figure out the intro for several months. I've been unable to find the right tuning... the only part i've been able to get 75% right is the high pitch part after the line "A world free from sin.."
I think the tuning is C. (it may be different but I figured out the notes anyway) I cant get a good view on the video to see how they are fingering the power chords though.

I know alot of the evergrey stuff in standard. I don't tune down or anything. If I knew how to I would be more than happy to post some tabs.

all you gotta use is a tuner.
tune a half step down for Eb tuning, a whole step down for D tuning, etc.

They are tuned to drop C on that song. If you watch the video you can see that they are are hitting some of those power chords with one finger. I also tried to figure out that song and the tuning I came up with was Drop C. Most of the other songs are in Drop D I believe but I might be wrong on that.

If you'll notice, the only difference between being a whole step down (as in what he posted) and being in drop C is the low C string, which you did not even use in your "correction" of his tab. If you weren't so hell-bent on being an asshole to him and you actually knew your way around the guitar, you would realize that the intro riff he posted and the one that you posted are THE EXACT SAME THING, just in different positions. Personally I prefer the position you posted, as that is how I play it myself, but he was not wrong on that intro at all. The notes are the same as in yours, and they are correct.
The second riff that he posted was horribly off, but you didn't even try to tab that one out, so you really haven't corrected him on anything, only made a complete fool of yourself to those of us who understand the geometry of the fretboard.

BTW, for those still looking for a full tab of the song, I've been working on a Guitar Pro tab of it so my band can play it, and I'll gladly share when I'm done. It's not going to be 100% accurate (drum fills, certain keyboard parts that are too hard to hear 100% right, and the little lead dealies they do at the end of each phrase of the verse...little things that don't make a drastic change in the end)
