I first heard of WOODS in 2008. A friend of mine showed me 'A Meeting Place in Time' and that was pretty much what started it. I actually really enjoyed the Green album, and was anticipating with much excitement Woods V. Needless to say, I was less than happy to learn the news about David on that fateful day.
I was in the studio recording my project this summer, and on it has a very WOODS-esque type of song. It's mostly using the type of chords that WOODS used, and the song is also in C#. The song isn't breaking any originality barriers, but is simply my humble acknowledgement that WOODS was a very important influence for me musically.
