A Twist in the Myth...

It has (as many other things discussed on this board) little to do with Nevermore, but it is a really good Blind Guardian album. I never liked it when it came out, but I put it on yesterday and realised it was pretty good...

I just felt like starting another food-thread....

(By the way, I had some elk/moose-meat (I think the swedish ones are elks, and not mooses, but I might be wrong) kind of thing for dinner.. it was surprisingly well tasting...)

The plural of moose is moose. Moose and elk are both in North America as well and are two completely different animals, much like a cow and a horse are different. But moose meat is really good.

Never heard the Blind Guardian album. Not a huge fan apart from the Bard's Song and LOTR.

Moose (holy fuck this one is HUGE!)

I knew that.. dunno where my head was at...

I was at some burger resturant in Liverpool were you could choose from like 20 different meats for the burger. That was awesome.. dunno if "Fuzzy Musk" was an option, though...

But what is called "Moose" in America is called "Elk" in Europe... That's what makes it so confusing.

What you call "Elk" in America would be called "Wapiti" over here, but they don't live here.

That's why we call our "Moose", "Elks".

:goggly:

Deer is an interesting subject... much more so than Blind Guardian...

If A Twist in the Myth would be a concept album about a Raindeer and a Moose's epic journey to find the purpose of deer-life, it would be so much better!
