I just found out about these guys and was blown away by the two MP3s on their site.... check 'em out and give 'em a listen. DT/Liquid Tension/Watchtower fans will probably dig this stuff.

Thanks for the head's up Dave! This sounded really interesting!

Can I ask you to check out the musical project which I'm a part of?
It'd be cool to get your opinion. :)

Just click the link in my signature. :hotjump:

I downloaded the clips last night, and I must say that I was really impressed!!! Which instrument do you play????

How soon before you think the demo will be ready for sale?

Thanks man!

However, the credit should go to my cousin. He is the actual player,
I am "just" writing lyrics and some music. He wrote all the music for
the demo too, the almost 23 minute song "...Into Madness". What is
kind of cool though is that he incorporated an idea of mine for the
guitar in there (clip 6, from 0:35 and out(the daaaaaaa-da-da-da). :)

On the demo my cousin plays all guitars, the bass and the piano. And
he sings (and growls). The drums are programmed (but we have a real
drummer now). I am just doing some backing vocals in two verses
(nothing much to speak loud about haha).

We are unfortunately not sure when we will start selling the demo.

You can check the site again, I just updated it with a Discography
section and a picture of the demo CD's! Here's the pic:

Again, thanks for checking out the site!

They passed out copies of the demo at the PofO show in San Antonio last May. I was one of the lucky ones to get a copy. Great stuff!

BTW...I think the programmed drums are just fine :)

It's not that the drums are programmed - they aren't. My problem is that the guy uses v-drums instead of acoustic drums. A good example of this is the difference in drum sound between Images & Words and Awake. The sampled drum sound is one of the few flaws in Images & Words' production.
