still needs to be tracked (only one track of vocals in right now) and reamped. the bass is a bit high at the moment, and the "mastering" is just a quickie job. theres some guitar bits i want to edit better too in here and also the vocal tuning is a bit on the harsh side. drums are live, worked hard to get the phase good, really happy with how they came out. overheads came out well too for nt5's in a shitty room IMO. toms are more replaced than id like as the drummer bought pin stripes instead of emperors, and im way less keen on pin's

Drums sounds really good. I really like the sound of the guitars also. What have you used for them? (Both distorted and cleans)
Sounds really good overall, vox, bass, guitars, drums. But maybe try and bring up the cymbals a bit. I'm having some problems hearing them in the beginning of the song.

guitars are just podfarm right now, will be reamping today or tomorrow. cleans are podfarm with some other comps/eq/delays/reverb. i think these guitars could be brighter, right now the mix is a little dark i think.

drums were a ludwig corey matthews kit, although i think one of the toms was from a pearl export. mics were:

kick: d6
snare: 57 + i5
toms: d2 + d4
hats: rode nt1a
ride: 58
oh: nt5's
room: at4040

i take quite a lot of time getting the tuning right and getting the mics in phase, they are the most important things.

i think the whole mix needs more lowend a bit on the master section. Also theres some bright saturation that creeps me a bit but Otherwise than that very enjoyable song! Good job.

wow...that kick sounds good man. the whole drums but i can never get a kick to sound like that without replacing it.

did you have the d6 inside?? Eq?? comp?? details would be cool.
