i was listening to ur music just now. I like the wake Darker Skies song and interested on how u achieved tht deftone-ish background vocals? i dont think it has something to do with autotune.

thanks mate

The vocals on that song are absolutely amazing sounding.

I asked him what reverbs he used once but I forgot the answer. It was something surprising though.

Hey thanks a lot and I'm glad you like the song! About the background vox, are you talking about the little repeat first comes at around the 2 minute mark? If so, that's just a vocoder keyed to a chord played on a keyboard.

I pretty much use Line 6 Gearbox for all reverb and delay effects. There's a vast array of effects in the bundle and I love it. I'd have to open the project to see which reverb in Gearbox I used, but I know for a fact that the delay I always use is the tube echo. I can't get enough of that effect and I love the warble effect that you can tweak. I actually don't think there's much reverb on the vox, its mainly delay.

Thanks for that Splat! :)

I'll have to try that tube echo out sometime.

I'm just going to apologize right now for only listening to Splat's stuff for the first time today.

I think I'm going to spend the entire work day with the SoundClick page open and listening to the music there.
