Well I'm pleased to announced, no actually, absolutely thrilled to announce I'll be flying to Nashville next month to meet up with Wolf Hoffmann to discuss production, songs etc for the upcoming Accept album.
Anyone who knows me will know what a fan of Accept I am, even after getting kicked off UDO's first european tour after 2 dates (for being too heavy I'd like to add), I still think they were/are such a killer band and although there's no UDO or Stefan K, I personally think its great that Wolf, Peter and Herman are still playing together along with Stefan and Mark.
This actually came together through a mutual friend, Ed Aborn who runs the Fozzy website and also does some work for Wolf. When I first met Ed back in 2001 we got onto the subject of Accept and basically we've never stopped talking about it.
So this has come about through a bit of nudging and me going "over here with that album" and it turns out they are as excited about the idea as I am.
I'm also looking forward to doing some classic metal as opposed to out and out thrash and I think this could be a really heavy record if thats the direction the band want to go in.
This of course is yet to be discussed and the whole reason why I'm clocking up yet more air miles next month.:headbang:

I believe to remeber that you once said that accept is one of most played band in your car.
you must be stoked, congrats...
I certainly am looking forward to this...it's gonna be awesome, cannä wait

yes, this does sound interesting indeed!

This is just awesome! And what a team-up! Andy is the perfect guy for the job because a) he's Andy Sneap and b) as a huge fan himself, he knows what fans expect under the Accept banner.

Wouldn't have expected that at all, the more pleasantly surprised I am. Very good news.

Thats awesome!!! Back in 1982, three specific metal albums that will always be classics were released - Iron Maiden's "Number of the Beast", Judas Priest's "Screaming for Vengeance", and the best of the three, Accept's "Restless and Wild" so heavy so powerful. Truly one of my favorite bands of all time no questions asked.

Awesome!!. Congrats!!
For me is one of the best news in the last weeks.
I thought I was the only Accept fan in this forum.
Probably the best metal band ever (after Iron Maiden).

Accept productions have always been amazing for the year they were recorded and Wolf's guitar's also been great and very personal sounding, so you've got a challenge!!

And I agree, you should do classic metal, powermetal and other melodic stuff too and not only be labeled in thrash metal.

Accept FTW!
