ACCEPT!

30 May in my city... good news!

I watched them with UDO in a Festival and it was for me something very special cause I had been dreaming that moment for many years.

I hope this time it is awesome too.

Not much of a old school heavy-metal fan here but i feel like i'm gonna like that new album after watching that new trailer !

@Andy : in this new trailer they (Accept) mention you having them sit and listen to their classic records and pointing out what sounds like Accept and what doesn't... Seems like you took this session to heart (not sure if that means something in English...) and had a lot of influence on songwriting/arrangements and so forth, right ?

Do you do that a lot (up to now i think of you more as a killer sound/performance guy more than a "i'm gonna help you with your songs" producer type) when you record bands or is Accept an exception ?

Accept really were my all time favourite band growing up so doing this album was a dream come true. To be involved from the very beginning, from the basic ideas through til the finished mix is why I enjoyed getting into this line of work. So many times now its a case of fixing an album in 14 days to a reasonable standard. With this tho, I did have alot of input with arrangements and riff ideas, focusing what the guys were coming up with....all part of the job.

Andy, what I'm curious about: Can you even simply enjoy such an album from a fan's perspective if you had so much input?

Thanks for the insight so far! Very much looking forward to this.

Thanks Andy !

I was yesterday in Barakaldo (Spain) and the show was awesome, 2 hours of classics like I'm A Rebel, Turn Me On, Balls To The Wall, Fast As A Shark, Metalheart, Midnight Mover, Monsterman... (No songs from the first album, Predator or Death Row).

Over 1000 people - not bad for a sunday - singing their songs.
Normally I am at the back of the venue having some beers, but yesterday I was in the second row and enjoyed the show very much and also did the band. They enjoyed every song, I could see it in their faces, specially Wolf and Peter.

Tornillo is the second best singer they could have. He had been ill one week before but did a great show. He fits perfectly in the band.

I had seen Accept with UDO in a festival some years ago and it was great but yesterday's show was more REAL.

I hope this line up lasts forever.

PS: Andy is a lucky bastard for having the chance to play on stage with them.
