Acetone increases fuel efficiency??

I remember back in the day, you would go to a gas station and you could smell the gas. You know the smell of fresh clean gas. But these day I go to the pumpand it smells like diesel fuel. I dont know if they are mixing it to make it go farther, or if they are refining it different but its not the same.

If they can make synthetic oil why cant they make a synthetic gas?

well, i've got the acetone and i've got 10 gallons of gas in my car. i'm going to give it a try... 3 oz. of acetone to 10 gallons of gas isnt that much, but if it helps me save fuel, count me in. :headbang:

Oh believe me...you can smell something different in diesel fuel, too. I'm not sure what they're cutting it with, but at some stations, you can smell and sometimes even see the difference.
