Acoustic intro on Lethe

I've got a question, the acoustic intro on Lethe, is it played by bass or guitar???

the intro to Lethe is a bass?! WTF coulda fooled me.......no wonder it doesnt sound right when I try to play it on guitar.....well that and I suck......
