Acoustic/mellow/sad... thingy.

Something very different for me but something I've had a massive urge to do lately.

The cleans are peaking like crazy so ignore that, and some of the acoustic parts are a little out of time but I only borrowed an acoustic for a few hours off a friend/client in order to get the idea down.

Cleans are just DI into Saffire Pro 40, then into Revalver. I used my Kramer Striker FR424 and a friend's Epiphone Gothic Explorer.
Acoustic is an Epiphone electro-acoustic, mic'd up with Superlux CM-H8a into Focusrite, and also outlined from the jack to catch DI's, which was put through Revalver and blended.

Drums are metal foundry with very little processing and a LOT of room mic. Kick is Slate 10z1 and 10z5 blended

Strings are Edirol Orchestral

I enjoyed a lot!, liked the mix too, only needed a bit compression on the acoustic, nothing more

Yeah they're compressed a tad but could do with a touch more squishing, as it's a little inconsistent dynamic-wise.
