ADTR guitars...

Took the booklet out:

all songs written by a ADTR

Produced by Chad Gilbert and ADTR
Pre-Produced by Andrew Wade, Chris Rubey and Jaison Lancaster on "Have faith in Me"

Mixed by Adam D.
Mastered by Alan Douches

I realy like that the CD isnt that loud. I think it is because of the extreme subs in the breakdowns...

Chris Rubey (TDWP guitarist) also co-wrote the CD.
but i guess they are too ashamed of admitting that in the CD? lol

chris rubey did co-write the cd

i was around when this was going down. i have some of chris's pre pro demo's from the whole deal on my laptop.

lol, that's mad funny, because Tom claimed he wrote, and I quote, "99 percent of everything ADTR has ever put out"

ya as soon as tom left the band they got the guitarist from four letter lie, kevin skaff. He aint exactly a metal guitarist but from what I watched on their live dvd he is classically trained and tight as shit.

guitar tones on the album are a mix of 5150, 6505+, hughes&kettner duotone (with the light up blue faceplate), and probably some amplitube or pod farm stuff. chad gilbert did mostly vocal work from my understanding, and andrew wade is all over this record (6th man so to speak)

The guy gave information that seems to be accurate, no use chastising him.

I'm curious about the cab's and mics used on the rhythm tone, as I've always liked it but figured it was an Adam D reamp.

Any info on the new one would be great, too - guitars are a bit dryer but really work quite well IMO.

^Great post, constructive n00b!

I actually dig the guitars on the new one, super clear and dryer than before, as mentioned, but great for the mix and very fitting the 2 songs I've heard so far.
