Advice for this mix.

This is an electrified version of the acoustic metal track I posted a short while ago.

I need to know how it translates, ie. frequency balance, levels, etc.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks. I've removed the limiter on the master. Is this better irt. the kick pumping?

still pumping just a little bit. i think it may be the actual drum sample, or an eq issue

Kick sounds a bit woofy. Overall sounds a bit dull, to me. I agree with CSMadden that it really could sound cool with a better mix.

I like where this song is heading (good groove, good guitar sound) but your drums need better samples, i. e. your kicks sound liker your beatters are hitting the side of a cardboard box. Can't wait to hear vox.

Thanks for the critique. Before I delve in and tweak the mix - was this based on the last mix I posted? Anything else?

i think you just need to completely change the kick sample. eq is not working at the moment dude. i would completely get rid of it and find a better one.

and the snare is not really good.and the guitars are like dying they dont have power

Regarding this which is 100 true if it were me an i couldnt get the guitars right

try boosting 400hz in a guitar bus very slightly to taste for more beef to guitars.
