Advise on placing bass traps in room.

Whats up... quick question for you guys.. Well im in the process of treating my room.. now i have a little problem.
I only have 6 bass traps where is the best place to place each bass trap.

The room is small(10ft x 11ft) so should i place each bass trap in each corner at about the middle of the corner? then what should i do with the remaining 2?

BTW each bass trap is 4 inches thick.. and their (2ft x4ft) so they obviously dont cover each corner from floor to ceiling.

i would put one in each corner and the other two on the back wall

Agreed, but you're probably better off leaving those 4 corner traps on the floor rather than elevating them to the middle point. I've read that bass builds up the most in the rooms tri corners (wall + wall + floor or roof).

It´s better on the floor or next to the ceiling so that it touches 3 surfaces.

And for the other 2, try them in the back corner on top of the others or on the middle, wherever they make the room sound better if you don't have any way of measuring the room.
