Through the amazingly tragic last few days, I just want to announce that myself, my family and so far all of my direct friends are all still here and not become victims of the 35W bridge accident in downtown Minneapolis.
The fact that I and my wife and kids traveled over that bridge at least 35 times in the previous week and a half to it's failing has an odd effect on me, both my wife and I were a bit concerned while going over it as of late, it just felt
different, slow and awkward with the work they were doing and the traffic slowed way down and the very tight lanes they had it down too.
I'm so very sad for those that have lost thier lives in this
tragedy, already 3 of 5 persons that have lost their lives lived within a 3 mile radius of where I live....really brings it home....
Thank you to those that called, emailed, skyped and myspaced me to check to see that I was still among the living, I was very touched by your actions.
