Agalloch in Atlanta

It's an east coast tour. They're also doing Scion Rock Fest in March for those out in CA.

The Earl is a great place. 21+. Cheap booze. Awesome sound, nice stage, nice lighting. Total hipster spot, but it's in the middle of East Atlanta...can't expect much else. Picked up my ticket last night. Support bands are great too.

The venue room itself is the back room of a bar/restaurant. The food is GREAT. Really good burgers.

They are playing NYC in March. I'm hoping for a show up here. Their facebook page hinted at a larger scale east coast tour to be announced, once some more venues were finalized.

Brian told me about this show down there earlier... lucky bastards.

FUCKING A!

I hope to see you in NY for that. Let me know *as soon as the date is announced.*

Any word on the package? Brian?

Worm Ouroboros and Loss are support for the Atlanta show. I don't know if Loss is on the whole tour or if they're just coming from Nashville for the Atlanta show, but I'm pretty certain that Worm Ouroboros is.

Agalloch has a date for 3/22 at (Le) Poisson Rouge in NY.

Yeah, I was just about to post this. Fantastic. I will *certainly* be there.

I don't know if I can handle this. I've been obsessed with this band since 2004 pretty much and I move away from the Southeast and less than a year later they play in Atlanta. Damn the luck!!! Maybe I can travel, but I likely can't afford it with work and stuff. I reallllllly want to see them live!!!

That's a good description of the venue. I've been several times, and have always enjoyed going to shows there. It's small and very personal.
