The singer Simon Le Fudd DOES sound like Joe Elliot before Joe really learned how to sing properly (listen to High N Dry).
I'm glad you hate Def Leppard. I hate Duran Duran - their music is rubbish. "Rio" is the only half decent tune they ever wrote. They're pish.

I have heard a whole album. I listened to their greatest hits album a few times last week in work - I thought it would be okay for work. However, I can't remember ONE good song and only Rio sticks out as better than the rest of the shit.
High N Dry is a great album, the singing really does remind me of Simon Le Bum.
