HEADLINE: HOT EDITED BY SEAN HAMILTON; OLD ROMANTICS IN NEW RECORD DEAL

BODY:
THE original members of Duran Duran are back together - and the former New
Romantics are poised to sign a whopping record deal worth GBP 25 million, Hot
can reveal.
For the first time in 17 years, the original line-up of singer Simon Le Bon,
guitarist Andy Taylor, bassist John Taylor, keyboardist Nick Rhodes and drummer
Roger Taylor are reforming for a nine-month world tour. Like Robbie Williams'
record-breaking deal, the Wild Boys' lucrative contract will take in records,
concert receipts and merchandise.
The band enjoyed huge success in the Eighties - and unlike so many of today's
British stars, they were adored in the US.
A music industry insider said: "Some people say Duran are Hot.
"When the guys sign the new huge record deal, people will really begin to
remember why they are such a great band."

$25 million pounds is worth over $40 million american
also with the hype duran duran will be getting it's looking more likely that
they will be doing another bond song just as what was reported a few months
back.

That's cool Shepard's into DD as well;there's quite a few people that subscribe to the stupidty that if it isn't always metal, it's not worth much.

Next time I see Jim I'll have to ask him about that...
