Ahahahahha look at my JS30RR !!

why does everyone plays a guitar like that. Rhoads everywhere, esp laiho sigs everywhere :erk:

Flying Vs (especially offset ones) are the most comfortable guitars in existence. I would also include Dean MLs into that - basically any guitar that has a crotch is what I'm interested in.:heh:

Don't mind that hunk of wood there. I'm in the middle of building a RR.

Nice collection. Oh and just wondering, do you think it would be "easier" to build a neck-thru guitar from scratch that a bolt on guitar. As I've always thought of it, in simple terms, as "sticking 3 bits of wood together". Whereas a bolt-on would entail having to cut out a cubelike section of the wood that the neck fits into, which seems to me would be annoying

Building a neckthru is MUCH harder than a bolt-on. You have to remember that most bridges require that the guitar neck have a certain angle built in to them. This takes a really careful touch with a hand planer and a good straight edge to check your work.

But I'm far from being an expert. Check out this thread for a huge amount of info on building a neckthru. (You'll have to register to see it)

Ah cool, makes sense. Yeah, it's just I was planning on partnering up with a couple friends of mine who do carpentry in college and starting a project guitar. Just for fun more than anything :p

Bit of a silly question.

COB forum = lots of Jackson/ESP RR's
Racer X forum = lots of Ibanez PGM/RG's
Nevermore forum = lots of 7 strings
Dragonforce forum = lots of Ibanez S series

Guitar choice is often influenced by the bands you listen too, it's not rocket science. If you think this is bad, don't even think about going to the Jackson Guitar Palace.

uuh, let me think of one more!

Necrophagist forum - lots of Ibanez xiphos! (If there were such a thing :( )
