I know that the RR-3 is better, but what is better for the money? I like how the RR-3 looks better, but I like how the JS30RR has 24 frets. I'm only 15 years old so I don't need any professional guitar or anything, although occasionally I do record.

What are some ups and downs to these guitars?

I believe the RR3 comes stock with real Duncans (a JB in the bridge if I'm not mistaken), so you'd already be set as far as pickups go. Also, the RR3 has a better all around build quality.

The Js30's suck. Shitty quality, shitty sound, shitty playability.

The RR3 has Duncan Designed's and a Liscenced Floys, but thats as good as you're gonna get until you get into the 800 dollar and up range, as far as Jackson's go.

Ah, shit. That's right, I was thinking of the RR5. Sorry about that.
