All ages metal events are a rare treat in Melbourne these days so we hope to see you all there! The more support these kinds of events receive, the more often they will be possible.

Unfortunately, we must regretfully announce the cancellation of the all ages MFMS show scheduled for this Sunday, 28th of May. The council will not grant the licence to the Noise Bar to de-licence the venue for the event & so it can not go ahead. It's all about insurance & public liability. IT'S NOT ONLY ALL AGES GIGS THAT ARE BANNED; IT'S NOW UNDER AGE GIGS AS WELL! The government are sitting on their hands (as usual!) regarding this issue, which is the reason we are only just finding out about it now; the council were waiting on a government ruling! Everyone involved with the Noise Bar & Noise T.V are campaigning against the decision to ban all age/under age gigs, as are the bands who were going to be playing at the show. The owner of the Noise Bar has a meeting with the Mayor tomorrow morning regarding this issue & the bands will be appearing on Noise T.V in the coming weeks to voice their opinions also. So this is what it's come to! It is now impossible for bands to play to an under 18's crowd in Melbourne! The time to start making noise about this is NOW! METAL FOR METAL'S SAKE!!! \m/ \m/
