Almost finished with song, that do you think of the mix?

What should I improve? I think the snare has a bit too much "ploink" maybe.

Drums: ezx, guitar: podxt, bass: reason.

yea your on about the snare needs some work. I wish i could help you more but I'm still trying to get my snare up to par also

Sounds good man...the snare is probably more of a personal taste thing than a mix thing. Sounds alright to me.

Yeah you're right, I'm pretty happy with it...I'd like to remove just like that little bit of "ploink"...any suggestions?

My old friend had a metal snare that sounded similar, he switched to a birch snare and that "ploink" you mention was gone. So I guess, maybe try to mix this snare with a different type, but this snare still sounds pretty good.

Yeah I tried that...don't like the other snares that much!
