garlic mashed potatoes... i want them so much right now. i keep trying to make them (aka sauteeing garlic and putting it into the mashed potatoes we already have) but always have the garlic on the stove for too long so that it winds up being crispy

use garlic seasonings. My wife makes a killer garlic mashed potato dish with just garlic salt, garlic seasoning, ranch, and butter. .... and of course maybe some potatoes

actually... you need to make the potatoes WITH the garlic, and that way
you'll get the best results... I also refuse to use any "garlic powder" in my food since I like to call myself a true garlic lover...
