What do you guys think about this mix? It's my first time writing something like this, it's just for fun though.

I'm not a big fan of that snare - you need something BIGGER sounding.

Sweet song just needs vocals! Like the mix a lot but agree with the snare (needs to donkier and thicker) love everything else.

I think the rhythm guitars during the intro could be louder and the lead could go down a little bit. It will give it more impact and width, I think.

I also agree about the need for a bigger snare, although I don't think the current one is too bad. Maybe first try adding some verb and go from there?

Really diggin' everything else though! It is sounding great.

Thanks for the feedback! well, this was just meant to be a rough mix for a friend, so she could write
the lyrics and vocal melodies. Hence, the snare.. it comes from a preset from the Allen Morgan II pack
I just loaded it and used it as it is.

Thanks, now I know what to fix. I played this in the car and noticed it lacks some low end too.

I think the snare sounds fine, maybe some darker reverb on it to set it back in the mix a bit more
