TSE X30/Superior Drummer Test

I was experimenting with impulses this time instead of POD farm using the TSE X30.

Guitars are quad-tracked, bass is Fl Studio's Boobass.. since I don't have a real bass unfortunately.

What do you think?

I agree with the drums, I actually removed the whole room mic. Gotta turn that back up!

For the guitars I used TSS > TSE X30 > Kefir with recabinet's ghandi impulses
57 edge for the 100% hard panned guitars and 121 edge for the 80% panned guitars
high pass at 30hz, low pass at 12khz
and vintage warmer 2 (4% drive 10% knee 50% speed)

cool thanks for the details, remember to add a subtle lowpass at something like 6k or 7khz (or lower anyways) to the rooms, it'll sound better and not as present, but you'll get the important freq's out of it. Of course, if it fits.

in my opinion it sounds good, just think the drums are a little too boomy for my taste ,, at least the kick drum, everything else sound fine to me, maybe blending the kick with something with more high end would do the trick and bringing a little highs in the rest of the drums .
