Has anyone used ProCo RAT for boosting? At least in PODxt it works well.

It's great for balls to the wall distortion, but when recording I find it has too much gain.

Well, I've got both a Maxon OD-808 and a Maxon OD-9 on the way right now, so when I get them, I'll give them both a test drive and let you guys know what I think about them. I'll also compare them directly with a BOSS SD-1 that I have.

All the Tubescreamers and their clones are awesome, but my all time favorite is the Fulltone Fulldrive. Absolutely amazing, and worth every penny. Just wish I could buy mine back
