Am I going in the right direction with this mix? (zonaria cover)

I think I'm starting to get good sounding mixes but I'll let you be the judge of that.

The song is not yet completed, only the 3 main riffs are done and let me tell ya the last riff was no picnic.

the crash cymbal sounds horrendously unnatural. it cuts out and then begins again, the only option here is a new sample which doesn't last about a quarter of a second. the guitars could do with coming up in the mix too, they dont have anywhere near the volume id like them to (the lead guits sound fine, but not the rhythm guitars)

also, i think the snare is a little bland sounding. you should try a new sample...but if you dont want to do that, fix it up with some nice soft, but long lasting reverb.

yeah please kill that cymbal, it's making everything sound fake, some reverb on the drums can help, more decay on... everything (speaking about drums) try a default sd2.0 preset straight into the master buss, no comp no nothing, and compare with this, i think it's easier to get the idea like that, it's a cool song!

Alright the song is completely finished. I've done my best to tame that nasty crash cymbal and added some verb on the snare.BTW the song is called The black omen.
