Amazon launches cloud storage service - 5gb free

I wonder if they'll try expanding this like dropbox, with public links and a local upload folder. I know how much we all love dropbox on this forum.

alright, so it looks like there are very temporary public links available with the service. i sent one to a friend of mine who opened it within a minute and he was able to get the file.
