I don't give a fuck, does anyone? If you do, why not try a political board instead?
The only politics to be discussed here are possible solutions to the [censored by the PC mafia]-problem.

The reason I stuck around this board was due to the open political discussions that weren't full of "you disagree with me therefore yuo = stupid" comments, so I say let them stay. :Spin:

Yes One Inch Man, most around UM follow Aristotelian logic.

Of course the rigged elections in the next month, are most likely the most important event in the world for at least the next four years. Either we will elect the lesser member of the imperial family to preside over the further decline of our empire, or we will elect the other guy, with hopes of forgetting our decline.

This election is extremely important for the globe, unlike most other American elections (including presidential). We have a wacko in control of the biggest army in the world! Who knows what country is on his list next!?

It's a serious consideration for me.

This bi-partisan BULLSHIT needs to to demolished. We are left with Shithead #1 or Shithead #2 to choose. This isn't democracy, it's BULLSHIT. If anything, I hope Bush gets re-elected, the draft gets reinacted (which finally hit home with the middle-class), and FINALLY a revolution will occur. Hey, I can wish, right?

Our founding fathers viewed it as a dishonor to NOT have a revolution every 20 or so years to keep the gov't in check. THEY are supposed to be working for US. Not the other way around.

I AM FED UP!

So the draft will cut off at 25years old right? I sure the hell hope so, cuz I am 25 now, by the time the bill passes, I should be 26. But if not, Im ready to move to the Norrland in the north of Sweden and bother Erik.

is there a board where you like every single thread? If so it must be like the opeth board, where censorship is in full flame and heaven forbid if you question Akerfeldt's weight or post an opeth logo with a donut in it...personally I'd rather have freedom and have to put up with a few nuisances.

The problem is, I would consider going back to the UK but then I have the dilemna: do I have my tax go towards the puppet master, or towards the puppet?

For some reason, it is looking likely that Bush will win again -- "I don't want my kids to die so I'll vote for dubya!" -- but from what I understand, Blair is as good as out. He even tried to resign recently from what I understand.

It's times like these where I think Dean should have been the nominated candidate, not Kerry.

Nah, I'm just whining because this shit is everywhere (Even in this thread) and has NOTHING to do with metal and I don't fucking care about it.

1) Many of us are Americans. It's not some abstact, "political" thing... it affects our everyday lives. It also affects most of the world, some countries more than others.
2) We are facing the most important election in the last 30 years.
3) Bush is easy to make fun of. Comedic relief.
4) Talking politics is a good way to sound smart.

I don't know how the immigration is here (on the ease for you guys to sneak in here), but I think that everyone should be able to live under a political system that is at least semi-reasonable. The way that American politics work you might as well just have a single party system with the Bush as your Fürher.

I was going for him, big time. He totally fucked up with that screaming bit though, man he was like a shooting star immediately following that. OH NOES DEAN IS TEH CRAZY!!!!!111111

Seriously. Bush is fucking wicked scary. I'm all for encouraging the difference of opinion, but who the fuck thinks this guy is a good president? I can't wait to see that new movie about terrorism by the South Park dudes, TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE. :tickled:

in some ways, I think Bush does not really want to win this one. I mean his job is done so to speak.

If he slacked off so much in the last 4 years knowing he was up for re-election ... imagine if he wins how much he will slack off for the next 4 years ... he can do some royal fuck-ups and not worry.

I tell you one thing, it will not be pretty in the US, if this fucker wins again. People will be pissed.

Looking forward to the debates ...

Absolutely. I can't even imagine. I am going to college in Canada in about two years, so I'm taking care of myself- but I'm worried of what might happen!
