Yeah, that's exactly how I feel, they have needed this break for a long time, and I hope they make the most of it. Alexi said he was totally wiped out by the end of December. As good as they all are, I think they need to get back to basics, and learn some new tricks to incorperate into their music. They have a lot of competition from other great bands who have followed in their footsteps, if they want to stay at the forefront of metal, they will have to put in the time and the practice.
