Amesoeurs is a french black metal, post punk band that wrote a few EPs and this album. This album is a clear distinction of how creativity can turn a genre as cold and depressive as black metal and make it beautiful with slight additions of outside influences. From the beginning track, you will be immersed in a dark, sad world with a slight glimmer of melon collie.
The most stand out aspect of this band is well, everything! This is a new form of black metal that is beautifully sung, screamed, whispered. The music has the ability to get underneath your skin while at the same time taking you into their dark, cold world. There is real, raw, power and emotion throughout this album and the album can be defined as jaw droppingly beautiful and chaotic and sad.
