Amon Amarth Touring

How many people who live in the US have seen Amon Amarth live? Damn I want to so badly, but I guess it's not really up to them, cause they seem to have a dissapointingly small fan base here in the US.

Where I live I'm the only Amon Amarth fan.

They played the US plenty. I've seen them 4 times so far- headlining (was supposed to be with Marduk), touring with Deicide, and touring with Nile. They'll be back.

I feel kinda stupid saying that, just looking at their site theyve had some US shows. Came to Jaxx 2 times, which is local for me. Considering that theyre undergroudn theyd probably be really cool to hang out with. Really famous bands can be dicks... Bodom is the only one ive heard of that has so much respect for its fans and so much respect from its fans.

in sf I wouldnt say they have a large fan base but its much larger than one would expect Ive seen them each time theyve come through SF... but thats only been like 2 maybe 3 times... those bastards better return or theyll face the consequences!!!!

I saw them in April '03 with Behemoth. Both bands put on decent sets, and I'd hope to see them again.

I have not seen them. Was going to on the Kreator/Vader/Goatwhore tour (as far as I'm concerned, Nile wasn't even there and I woulda left after Kreator), but I had to take the fucking SAT IIs.

A couple guys at work saw Amon Amarth on the one you mentioned I think. They got to meet Johann backstage and stuff. I've personaly never seen them, but I really want to. I am hoping they tour the U.S. in support of "Fate of Norns". That would rule.
