This thread was a funny one

Kinda reminds me when I tried to decipher Iron Maidens The number of the beast-album which I only had on tape @ first...

Seriously now, I'm flattered by some of the comments here...
This was an old text I had - intended for another song, but it turned out to be a good choice for the third song on that EP.

Dan got it, did the vocal melodies, and recorded the vocals a week or so after the songs were recorded and by the time I got to hear the result I found out that he'd added "You're a slave to Amon-Ra" (which kinda made the title obvious). The thing is I wrote it with Horus in mind ("...I'm Osiris son..." etc) so as far as Egyptology goes it's not completely correct.

Dan also did much of the musical arrangements (we listened to a bunch of old portastudiodemos I'd made a while back, and modelled the the song riff by riff).

I still like it but I think it's a bit too long, and maybe a bit too repetitive.

Well I did this 'cause I only have it on MP3 form, and have truoble deciphering his lyrics due to the somewhat low mixing on the vocals. Thanks all for clearing it up though
