Amorphis vs. Sentenced

Both are from finland, both had a death metal phase, and then evolved into a less harsh rock music style. Therefore they can be compared. DISCUSS.

Amorphis very very very easily. Sentenced suck so much. They cannot be compared since Sentenced make their music more simple and plain (and bad) while Amorphis totally praise 70s prog/space rock with their current albums.

Heh, you misunderstood. I might have voted for Katatonia, but in no way does that imply that I think Anathema aren't worthy.

In this poll however, Sentenced are not worthy up against a legendary band like Amorphis (see: Elegy and Tales from the Thousand Lakes - two absolute milestones in metal).

Sentenced were doomed from the minute this poll opened.

Amorphis by a frickin' long shot, and I don't even like them that much (have only heard Tuonela and bits of 1000 Lakes). Sentenced blow fat chunks. Awful awful band.
