Hi everyone. Like the title says, I'm a n00b here. First off, a little bit about my situation....
Four years ago, I sold all of my gear, half stack, 3 guitars, various stomp boxes, etc. I sold it all because I was in a pretty serious wreck with a tractor trailer. Doc said I wouldn't be able to play anymore due to a pretty serious back injury.
Anyway, I had a spinal fusion and now, 4 years later, I feel like I can play again. I plan on dropping 5-6k on new gear, either this week or next.
My question is about the EVH 5150III. I've watched and read several reviews. Mostly they were positive. Pretty much the amp I'm looking for. But I've also read that there are some issues with them.
Does anyone here own one, and if so do you have any problems with it? I'd really like to know before I drop over 2 grand for the head and 4x12.
