well i doubled the tracks and didnt know if it would cause a cancellation, it has a hissy airy sound and didnt know if i should use a gate to get rid of the amp hiss, or if that was cancellation?
If you have the phase flip engaged or your performances are not very well doubled, something could be wrong. Hard to tell what exactly you're talking about.
i used on my pro tools rig, mic input 1 on 2 tracks with the same settings, and it sounds like it has air coming through the audio when it is direct input and sounds muddy a bit?
