A short comparison between my real amp recorded with amplitube speaker sim and a real engl 2x12 V30 cab (sm57)

first clip: amplitube speaker sim:

I have dialed out some of the highs in the real cab mix.
Now they sound nearly identical I think. The difference is not so imense.
I guess I like amplitube 3 speaker sim more than IR's. To me amplitube 3 speaker sim sounds more dynamic.

The real cab is miced with a sm57 only.
The amplitube cab is with a mix of Sen 421 and sm57.

I have experienced that it is hard to get rid of the "fizz" of my real sm57 in front of the real cab.

It really seems strange. The mike is pointing at the middle of the cone.

Maybe the amplitube 3 cabs sit better in the mix and it is easier to achieve a more pleasant tone?
