Hey guys, I'm kinda new to these forums and I started recording music a few weeks ago. I made this song and i'm not really content with the mix. I don't know how to improve it. Could someone help me?

Bring up the kick a ton, can't even hear it. Cool song though.

bring up the kick, snare and toms if there's any, overheads are way too loud.
i can't really hear the kick well but it sounds similar to the snare for some reason.
once you have them on the right volume try to EQ each one so they both
have their own space in the mix

The guitars sound pretty ok (??? -> SM57 or is it podfarm?).

The weakest point of your mix are the drums (what are you using?). Like mentioned here above: bring the kick up alot and also the snare/toms.

Thanks for the advise!

I used the standard Ezdrummer kit on the previous mix and now i'm using DFH it's quit easier to mix

Anyway, here is my new mix and I think it's better:

ENGL Savage 60 -> Harley Benton 2x12 (V30's loaded) -> SM57

now the volume is ok, but the snare is so thin, and it sounds very machine-like.
i don't know how much can you do with the dfh or ezdrummer.
