Need advices for a beginner in the world of mixing.

Hello everyone.

As the title says I'm a total beginner and I've been working on song lately.

I'd like some advices to improve this mix which has been done quickly.

Drums > AD
Guitars > Quadtracked podfarm
Bass > Guitar Through Ampeg SVX

i would definitly start by looking into using guitar impulses. This has the potential to really thump, but I feel like the pod wont take you the extra mile unless you give it a good cab impulse. Read around on the internet, or these forums about impulses. It takes that digital sound and gives it a much more realistic tone. Your drums sound pretty good, but personally i like the hats/china/ etc to be a little louder.

Thanks, I'll give them a try! But I'm already glad to have this sound being that I've been messing around with the pod since this morning.
