Really? I think I'd rather listen to The Varangian Way than In Flames + folk instruments.

I hate Turisas so much. They aren't even folk metal. The thing is, Eluveitie aren't always ripping off In Flames. There were plenty of songs on Spirit "and a very few on Slania" that were free of melo death and thus awesome aside from the vocals. Not to mention Sevan is more accomplished than just about every other folk musician in a genre plagued by amateurs who pick up a recorder or pan flute for the first time like Vratyas Vakyas and play some simplistic "not that theres anything wrong with simplicity" melody throughout the whole song. "Not that Eluveitie comes close to Falkenbach".

Oh, back to Turisas. I FUCKING HATE TURISAS SO GOD DAMN MUCH! WHY ARE WE GETTING THESE LITTLE CUNTS FOR PAGAN FEST INSTEAD OF MOONSORROW OR KORPIKLAANI?! AND THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO CALL TYR AN UP AND COMING BAND? BAH!

Just to note, Eluveitie is not folk metal in any way, they're just pathetic Melodic Death Metal with Celtic influences. All of it is nothing more and nothing special.

Turisas does what they want to do, and they do it well. Great drinking music, as well.

i saw Turisas last month...just because Heidevolk was in the program and it was cheap.
those guys really are fags ...they almost got boo't at i think the singer was really pissed of that almost everybody came for Heidevolk
