I wouldn't mind an album from these guys, and was just wondering if The Arrival was the place to start. I've heard bits of Catch 22, and have to say I'm not impressed. Any suggestions?

Catch 22 is not the place to start at all. that album takes a lot of time to enjoy. I would definitely say start with abducted, as its the probably the easiest to get into or the arrival.

Again I´d might suggest the compilation. But Abducted is good one also.
But personally for me the self titled was the easiest to get into.
Catch 22 is hellish good as a record, and even though it maybe isn´t the best as Hypocrisy I think it had to be made.

10 Years box would be good, or The Final Chapter would work. I personally started with Abducted.

Personally, I agree with the compilation. It gives you a taste of what each Hypocrisy album was all about, since each album is different in its own way *I'm not counting early stuff with Masse, I couln't get into it. For me, Hypocrisy didn't really start until Tagtgren took over on vocals* My personal favs are Into the Abyss and The Final Chapter, but any album you choose will more than likely hook you...
