Anaal Nathrakh

wow this thread really makes me realize how much ive been neglecting all these ruling bands for quite awhile. i must give my support to the suggestions of Dub Buk, Nokturnal Mortum, Drudkh, taake, negura bunget, blut aus nord, etc. and also add Thorns, Aborym, and Dødheimsgard if you dig the industrial/strange/post-black vibe, and Kovenant - Animatronic if you really dig the industrial/strange vibe. man, i need to start listening to more bm again....but that means less stoner rock?! fuck, i dunno what to do

>OPINION ON ZYKLON<

I think all their albums have been kinda bland, but I found disintegrate to be the all round best of the three. Having said that my two favourite songs Psyklon Aeon and An Eclectic Manner. They fucking kick ass and pretty much made that album IMO.

And yeah, Aeon was pretty Morbid Angel-ish, especially Core Solution and Two Thousand Years.

Pandemonic Hyperblast is just a stupid Pandemonic Hyperblast. It sucks because it's arguably not even music.

Lunor Aurora is OK, nothing too amazing but nonetheless some decent black metal.

That was me. And I really was serious about the sticky. I'll change the title to something like "Awesome Black Metal Recommendations" or something if you guys want. Just keep posting stuff all you want.

but actually, Stormblast is pretty good. The original, of course, not that crappy Nuclear Blast Generation lolcore version they rerecorded last year because they don't get royalties off of the Cacophonous version from 95 or 96.
