Anaal Nathrakh

Ive recently discovered more bands worth mentioning:

Månegarm (only their first two demos and their debut full length "I Nordstjärnans Sken" can be considered black metal, but all three are fanfreakintastic)
Astrofaes... they may have been mentioned, "Those Whose Past Is Immortal" is a quite good album
Judas Iscariot
Wolven Ancestry
and I heard a song by Ruins of Beverast and I liked it alot, im torrenting a couple albums. Oh yeah and ive changed my mind on Lunar Aurora, they're quite fuckin excellent.

Upon further listening, I have decided that Ruins of Berverast is the most apocalyptic BM band ever.

Ok, Emperor is a better black metal band, but IMO, Emperor is THE black metal band. Or was, rather...they aren't really a band because they reformed for just a couple of shows and Ihsahn is doing his own thing and Samoth and Trym have Zyklon. But Darkthrone? No. Dark Funeral? No. Marduk? No. Anorexia Nervosa? Please. Dimmu Borgir? HA! COF? I'm not even going to remark.
wow. you can't rave about a band being king of black metal with a list like that. you just can't. holy fuck. this thread was taken seriously?

Aeon was ok, although the best track on it was the one that was kind of far away from the rest of their material on the CD (An Eclectic Manner).

Don't say Enslaved either, cuz they're more Viking metal now.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, Nick Barker is on the kit now and one of the guys from Napalm Death is on the bass. Don't quote me on that and feel free to correct me.

Like you wouldn't anyway.
